Sawyer tutorial
Blah, I am bored and so I'll write a couple of tutorials. They create a shiny effect and sunset-like effect.







First off I think this tutorial can be translated in PS because I use PSP8. Second join the photobox to get a HQ pic of Sawyer..or any other of the Lost Cast.


Once I have my pic and I crop and resize it into 100x100 icon size and sharpen it.

- original base

- Duplicate and set to screen

- Add new layer and fill it with a solid black color and set the blend mode to soflight

- Add new layer and fill it with #38435A and set blend mode to exclusion

- Copy the bottom layer and drag it all the way up to the top and set the blend mode to softlight

>> Take gradient like this and set blendmode to hardlight (dont know where i got the gradient from...) merge layers.

- Duplicate and set to burn at 50% opacity. Finished icon...feel free to use. just credit.
